Issues and concerns in District 1 (Garden of the Gods area):

City Council votes down 2424 GOTG Rezone & Project!  Thanks to each and every one of you who wrote our leadership.  Your voice matters. 

Thanks to Council Members:  Dave Donelson, Nancy Henjum, Bill Murray, Richard Skorman, and Tom Strand for voting in the interests of public safety. 

The people won today.  We still need to deal with getting our Clearance Evacuation Times and Emergency Maps being published, but this is such wonderful news for all WUI neighborhoods.

2424 106 Lawsuit:  The developer filed a lawsuit to appeal the City Council decision to vote down the Rezone and Development.  We are monitoring this closely and are working with attorneys to decide if further action will be needed.
